Dura-Flex Couplings
TB Wood’s Dura-Flex couplings are manufactured with precision and available from Clutch Engineering. The element is light weight and absorbs shock loading and torsional vibration. These high-performance coupling products have a two-piece element that makes installation easy. This ease of installation can also reduce the downtime of your machinery, for the benefit of your bottom line. Coupling must be guarded, both to prevent any contact with the rotating parts and to contain the coupling components should they fail.

Sure-Flex Couplings
Clutch Engineering provides TB Wood’s Sure-Flex couplings for applications such as pumps, generators, hoists, and conveyor systems. These couplings are designed to support the absorption of virtually all types of shock, misalignment, and end float. Minimum shaft engagement is 0.85 * shaft diameter and no lubrication or maintenance is required. The lack of manual lubrication helps you to allocate efforts elsewhere, without needing additional time for the upkeep of this product. Variations of available parts and features include close-coupled, spacer, and split sleeves. These couplings are precisely manufactured to give you an optimal solution for various applications that are compatible with couplings and related variations.

Form-Flex Couplings
Clutch Engineering offers TB Wood’s Form-Flex disc couplings for applications that range from general industrial equipment to specialized high speed precision machines. These high-performance products feature all metal construction and require no lubrication. This gives them a long operating life and high torsional stiffness, while freeing up time that would otherwise be spent on maintenance. Disc-O-Torque Clutch
Offered by Clutch Engineering, TB Wood’s Disc-O-Torque friction disc clutches have the ability to function wet or dry, which gives your more options for your mechanical systems. These high-quality clutch products are available with hydraulic or pneumatic actuation. Standard D5 versions of this part are provided with a separate inlet for lubricating oil, to provide a continuous oil flow to the bearings. The have high torque density, long life, and are they are also self-contained.

Sure-Grip Bushings
Clutch Engineering offers TB Wood’s Sure-Grip quick detachable (QD) bushings for use in applications such as sheaves, pulleys, sprockets, gears, and couplings. These precision engineered bushings are easy to install and remove, which increases the uptime of your machinery and supports your bottom line. Sure-Grip bushings provide more clamping force than many other bushings, thanks to a more gradual taper. The tapered design provides a mechanical interference fit on the shaft. These Sure-Grip tapered, QD-type interchangeable bushings offer flexible and easy installation while still providing exceptional holding power for many critical systems.

Taper-Lock Bushings
TB Wood’s Taper-Lock bushings are high-quality parts offered by Clutch Engineering. Their intuitive construction keeps the hub smaller, allowing closer mounting to bearings and other equipment. These precision engineered bushings are compatible with a great variety of applications and they are designed to provide a mechanical interference fit on the shaft. Achieving full bushing contact on the shaft is recommended to insure proper bushing/hub performance. These products are specially made to deliver optimal performance for many mechanical applications.
