VL Joints (Plunging)
Clutch Engineering offers GKN Lobro VL constant velocity joints that can be used in a variety of industrial machinery and marine propulsion applications. Their designs allows for shaft angles of up to 18°, and they can also plunge to allow for axial movement. An important benefit of VL plunging joints is that they are able to provide constant angular velocity, even when the input and output angles aren’t equal. This increases your options for taking advantage of constant angular velocity in a wider variety of situations. UF Joints (Fixed)
Clutch Engineering offers GKN Lobro RF high quality constant velocity joints for use in steel mills, paper mills, and other industrial environments. These well-made parts allow shaft angles of up to 40° for various industrial and mechanical applications. These joints are fixed, providing no axial movement. Length compensation is also possible through use of a splined shaft joining each of the fixed joints. RF fixed joints are able to provide constant angular velocity, even when the input and output angles aren’t equal. GKN Driveline considers the positive impact that a product can have on a vehicle’s dynamic performance and efficiency when designing parts and components, leading to highly-reliable products.
