Clutch Engineering was established in 1960 as
the Manufacturing Representative for The Wichita Clutch
Company. Clutch Engineering was very successful in
specifying Wichita clutches and brakes with companies
like:
- Morgan Construction
- Perkins Power Press
- Birdsboro Machine
- Waterbury Farrel
- Farrel Corporation
- Sandy Hill Equipment
- Rice Barton
In 1984 Wichita
Clutch was sold to Dana Corporation. Soon after
the sale all the manufacturer's representatives were
given the choice of becoming Stocking Distributors or
termination. Needless to say, we elected to become
a Distributor.
In 1990 the original owners
retired and the company was purchased by David Sodaro,
the current owner. |
